Javier Cuétara Priede
Bachelor of Arts in Hispanic Literature and Master in Arts in Hispanic Linguistics, his areas of interest are teaching of Spanish as a foreign language, technologies of speech, dialectology and history of Spanish language.
Member of Linguistics Engineering Group (GIL) of the Institute of Engineering of UNAM and Coordinator of the Colloquium of Computational Linguistics. He is in charge of the Research Seminar on Lesbian and Gay Literature of the Department of Hispanic Literature at UNAM.
He has worked as a consultant for the National Institute for the Evaluation of Education (INEE) and for the National Centre of Evaluation of Higher Education (CENEVAL). He was the director of the UNAM’s Centre of Teaching for Foreigners in Taxco from 2009 to 2013 and the Head of the Department of Hispanic Literature up to 2015, where he has taught since 1990.
